Firefly, Light My Fire
The first episode introduces us to The Bugaloos as they emerge from their homes - Courage from his treetop hideaway, Harmony from his bamboo patch, I.Q. from his onion-like den, and Joy "makes the scene" from her lily-pad pad.
At that moment, unbeknownst to the Bugaloos, a lone firefly has been hit by their future nemesis, Benita Bizarre, as she races to Rock City with her chauffeur, Funky Rat.  Their friends, Bluebell Flower and the Grapes, announce the firefly's predicament and the Bugaloos rush to help.  They find Sparky lying along the roadside and bring him to their clearing in Tranquility Forest.  The little firefly regains his feet and the Bugaloos feel all is well - until they learn of Sparky's hang-up, he can't fly!  The Bugaloos sing to Sparky to lift his spirits and perhaps gain him a little confidence.
At that same moment, Benita has returned home and hears the Bugaloos over her Sound Radar and decides she must have them for her own band.  Unable to talk the boys into joining her, Benita zaps the Bugaloos with her Stereo Zapper rendering them unconscious.  The boys wake up to find themselves tied up in Benita's jukebox and, after threatening to harm Joy, the boys reluctantly agree to be Benita's band.
During a recording session, Sparky saves the day by short-circuiting Benita's recording equipment, allowing the Bugaloos to escape.
