The second episode opens with the Bugaloo boys eagerly preparing their "leaf" boards to go sky-surfing and Joy, with Sparky's help, doing chores. As the boys prepare to fly, Joy is somewhat aggravated with them "copping out" with the chores, but Sparky assures them he will look after Joy as they depart. Bluebell Flower and the Grapes begin to tease Sparky crying, "Look out! Look out!", only adding to his anxiety.
Meanwhile, after almost destroying KOOK radio station with her latest groove, "Snowflakes Keeping Fallin' On My Skull," Benita Bizarre is back at her Jukebox Penthouse lamenting to her gang that Peter Platter will never play another one of her records. Asking Funky Rat to check the Sound Radar, Joy's voice comes over the airwaves and Benita hatches a plot - to steal Joy's voice!
By now Sparky has been teased enough by Bluebell Flower and the Grapes that he does not believe them when they give the alarm that Benita is coming. Accompanied by Woofer and Tweeter and Funky Rat, Benita sneaks up on Joy and zaps her. Moments later, Sparky realizes Joy has been kidnapped, but he is unaware of Benita's horrible plan.
As the boys are enjoying themselves sky-surfing, a somewhat baffled messenger, Nutty Bird, delivers his blundered message, but I.Q. is able to piece it together and they realize Benita has captured Joy. After arriving back at the clearing, a panicked Sparky is finally able to tell what happened but, just as the boys start to launch a rescue attempt, Courage turns to see Joy has returned. Joy tearfully explains that Benita has a terrible voice switching machine and has stolen her voice. Horrified hearing Benita's voice coming from Joy and the thought they may have to live with it, they quickly make a plan.
The Bugaloos go to Benita's Jukebox Penthouse with a plan to get Joy's voice back. They trap Funky Rat, who has been stationed outside to guard, in a giant rat trap. Then they disconnect the power to Benita's Jukebox Penthouse, which interrupts Benita as she begins to make a record using her new voice. I.Q. and Courage, disguised as repairmen, trick Benita into her voice switching machine and, with Joy positioned next to Benita, the boys begin to try to figure out how the thing works. Sparky realizes the contraption isn't plugged in and innocently corrects the situation - only to accomplish everyone switching voices!
Some time later, the Bugaloos return to their clearing in Tranquility Forest exhausted but thinking they have solved their problem - until Sparky speaks up and with Benita's voice! * Spotlight On Premiere of "I'm As Happy As Can Be" Audio Hi-Frequency Voice Switcher Harmony's Rat Trap * Memorable Quotes "She may sound adorable, but on the inside she's still a rotten lady." - Woofer - "That's not a voice!
