If I Had The Wings Of A Bugaloo
Episode 6 is especially for I.Q. fans!
-
The boys are enjoying another beautiful day sky-surfing.  Below, Benita Bizarre watches "those smug little bugs" and wishes she had wings.  Woofer and Tweeter's reminder that she still has them and to count her blessings does nothing to ease Benita's envy, until Funky Rat tells her about his sister, Broomhilda, who makes wings.  Overjoyed, Benita tells Funky Rat to hurry up and tell his sister to make her wings.
Soon, Broomhilda arrives with Benita's new wings.  Benita is beside herself with excitement at Broomhilda's newest wing design, "Freaked-Out Vampire."  Everyone assembles outside for Benita to try out her new wings - with disastrous results!  Back inside, Benita is recovering from her crash landings when she spots I.Q. casually soaring above.  Seething with envy, Benita decides "those are the wings I need, and those are the wings I'm gonna get."
Later that day, disguised as Heddy Hoe-Down, Benita comes a callin' on I.Q. at the Bugaloos' clearing.  Feigning she's lost, I.Q., being the gentleman he is, offers to help Heddy find her way to Uptown.  Of course, as they depart, Funky Rat, Woofer, and Tweeter are waiting in the bushes with the Stereo Zapper and zap I.Q.
-
A little while later, the Bugaloos return from the Insect Circus to hear of a crazy lady's visit and that I.Q. left with her.  Suddenly, the Grapevine gets an urgent message from the Babbling Brook who saw I.Q. unconscious in the backseat of Benita's limo.  Fearing for their friend, the Bugaloos race to Benita's Jukebox.
Back at the Jukebox Penthouse, Benita and her gang prepare to give I.Q. a wing transplant.  Bound and gagged, I.Q. struggles to escape their evil plot.
-
Harmony, Courage, and Joy arrive at Benita's and catch the Peacock- guard taking a snooze.  As they try to sneak inside, Courage and Joy find themselves stuck to a cleverly laid trap of flypaper.  As the Bugaloos are stuck fast, Funky Rat is reading up in his "Do It Yourself Surgery" book.  Tired of waiting, Benita tells Funky Rat "go Marcus Welby, start snipping."
Harmony frees the two Bugaloos and while they are pulling themselves together, Harmony goes to take a "look-see."  Peaking through a window, Harmony is horrified at what he sees and rushes to tell the others.  Realizing they must catch Benita and her gang by surprise, Harmony comes up with a plan.  Using a coin from the Jukebox coin slot, Harmony triggers the Jukebox to play just as Funky is about to give I.Q. a tranquilizer  using a mallet.  Taken by surprise, Funky inadvertently clubs Benita over the head, which earns him a clubbing.  The Bugaloos slip in through the coin return slot and free I.Q. during the mayhem.
Outside, the Bugaloos are making their escape when Joy trips and falls.  As the boys stop to help her, Benita catches up to them and is just about to zap them when Funky crashes into her, allowing the Bugaloos to escape.
Back at the Bugaloos' clearing, I.Q. thanks his mates and the Bugaloos begin to sing.
