After the Bugaloos, there was Freewheelers!

NEW PICS!!!

"Leonard Gregory (Steve) and Adrian Wright (Mike) are old friends to
viewers of the earlier 'Freewheelers' series.  In the present show,
they have a new girl companion, Jill, played by Caroline Ellis.
Brown-haired, brown-eyed Caroline began her professional career
at the age of 12 in the London stage production of that great
musical 'The Sound of Music.'  She has only recently returned from
America where she has been filming in 'The Bugaloos,' a new series
made by the team which produced the 'H.R. Pufnstuf' series with Jack
Wild.  It's a good thing that Caroline is an outdoor girl who numbers
riding among her favorite activities: at one point she is called upon
to ride in a steeplechase while disguised as a professional jockey!"
- Look-In magazine, No. 34, August 19, 1972

"Wendy Padbury had moved on to make a show with Davy Jones
(ex of The Monkees), and in her place for the first half of the season
came Caroline Ellis, an actress whose previous assignment had
been as a singing butterfly in the series The Bugaloos
made in America.  Caroline was very much a lover of the outdoors
and enjoyed riding which the character of Jill was required to do
in the serial." - Time Screen magazine #19, Autumn 1992.
