Caroline Ellis plays
"Joy,"
and she perfectly fits the expression "cute as a bug."  She's got a smile that would melt icebergs.
Caroline was born in London and attended the same theatrical school as actress Jean Simmons.  She specialized in dancing and acting, and began professional appearances on the British stage at the age of 12.
She has done several British TV shows and recently had small parts in two movies - "I'll Never Forget What's'is Name" and "Wonderwall."
Caroline is 19 years old and loves swimming and horseback riding.

John McIndoe plays "I.Q."
and is the only Scottish member of the quartet.  He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and answers to the name "Big John."
He comes from four generations of circus people and has worked as a clown and a ring boy, in addition to doing riding, swimming, and stunt work.
Big John is a self-taught musician who plays guitar and sings.  His hobbies are collecting stamps and antique cameras.

Wayne Laryea plays "Harmony"
and is the youngest of the Bugaloos.  He was born in the Hammersmith section of London, but at a very early age moved to the east end of the city with his parents.  This accounts for the cockney accent that surprises everyone, coming from a colored kid.  (Negros in England prefer to be called "colored," rather than "black.")
Wayne's father was in show business, so Wayne grew up in it and was enrolled in acting school very early.
In school he excelled in track, but his real interest was in writing, and he'd planned to major in English Literature at the University before the Bugaloos happened.
He likes to play rugby, write poetry, take long walks, watch movies, and go horseback riding.

John Philpott plays "Courage."
He was born in Kent, England, and has been nicknamed "Little John" to keep him straight from the other John in the group.
Before being selected as a Bugaloo, he was working in a factory as a pants presser and trying to pursue a music career on the side.
He's quite good at darts and billiards, but also enjoys swimming, fishing, and football.
Like all of the Bugaloos, the trip to America to start the series was the first time he'd flown and the first time he'd ever been to America, and he's still overwhelmed by it all.
"I thought it would be quite open, with New York in the center and California just all sandy beaches," he notes.  "I think it's great here, though."
