Once you have read and understand the task ahead of you. It is now time to get with your leaders and get an Eagle Service Project approved.
You need to document all your planning and ideas in the Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project Workbook.
You should read through the booklet to see what all this entails, and to give yourself a good idea of what type
of items you need to keep track of as the project progresses. It would be terrible to get through and find out you didn't
have any before pictures, after pictures, or know the names of the individuals that helped and how long each helped.

Congratulations!
The Eagle Mother's Poem (Author unknown) can be used during the Eagle Ceremony. Troop 102 typically has the poem read by a mother of one of the Troop's Eagles
(not one receiving his award during the ceremony). This can be an emotional time for some in the audience (men and women alike). It has been placed on this
page for your convience. If you have never read this poem, take a couple of minutes to read it. It is in Adobe format and is only 89K. Enjoy.
Now is a good time to consider joining the National Eagle Scout Association or NESA.
